Throughout the history of Nehekhara, the kings of the great cities ordered the construction of vast monuments. Many of these creations were great statues depicting the gods, while others were carved in the likenesses of fearsome creatures of mythology. Each statue was hand carved by a skilled Necrotect and inscribed with magical hieroglyphs said to bring the statue to life to allow it to protect the tomb of its master.

Following the rise of Settra and the beginning of the Reign of Millions of Years, these statues have been awoken by the Liche Priests of the Mortuary Cult and now march to war alongside the armies of the Tomb Kings
