Sea Engineer
From Warhammer - The Old World - Lexicanum
(Redirected from Sea Engineers)
The Sea Engineers are a part of the Dwarf Engineers Guild who specialise in building iron ships. [1a]
Their home is the Dwarf port of Barak Varr. [1a]
By making iron float and directing their vessels without having to depend on the winds or the tide, Dwarfs feel they have conquered the sea and proved the dominance of land over sea. Furthermore, they have proven, to their own satisfaction, that anything Elves can do, they can do better. [1b]
Each Ironclad is unique, a testiment to the skill of its creator but few Engineers can build the floating fortress that is a Dreadnought, each new king commissioning one during their reign. [1b]
Notable
- Hengist Cragbrow: He created the first Dreadnought. [1b]
- Mungrun Steelhammer: Apprentice of Cragbrow and creater of the first Nautilus. [1b]
Quotes
Labouring hard with a shovel in the darkness, stoking a massive boiler and bathing in the heat. Life on board an Ironclad, eh? Just like being at home.
