Weird, I noticed that the background of the WFRP has some diffs to the information that you gathered.

The Empire is composed by 9 Electoral Provinces.

  • the Principality of Reikland
  • the Duchy of Middenland
  • the Principality of Ostland
  • the Duchy of Talabecland
  • the County of Stirland
  • the County of Averland
  • the Barony of Sudenland
  • the Mootland

There are also 3 city-states whose rulers, the Grafs, are also Electors.

  • Middenheim
  • Talabheim
  • Nuln

A new emperor is elected by 14 Imperial Electors

  • the rulers of each province.
  • the rulers of each of the city-states
  • the Head of the Moot
  • the High Priest of the cult of Ulric
  • the 3 highest officials of the cult of Sigmar

There is no mention of the Non-electoral provinces; it seems that the info of "The Enemy within" was already a bit improved (version 1.1 ? :). We must be very careful in improving this article. Aehren 19:49, 23 August 2010 (UTC)

It's pretty easy to get a hold of the Enemy Within vol.1 book.
Actually nothing much changed between 1.0 and 1.1 (except the course of events in the history were slightly altered by the Emperor abdicating without leaving an heir) - I would say the Empire background was fleshed out in the Enemy Within, from the 5 or so pages of background given in the main rulebook.
And there are 15 electors if you add up the numbers given in "Politics". I guess WFRP is not counting the Emperor when they say 14. --Acidface 23:27, 23 August 2010 (UTC)
A simple mistake that I copied (p.284) instead of counting the electors myself. Check your "The Enemy within", what is the name of the High priest of Ulric? Aehren 11:29, 24 August 2010 (UTC)
His name is "Ar-Ulric" (and his title is "High Priest") --Acidface 02:36, 25 August 2010 (UTC)
Weird, they later changed his name into a title. I vaguely remember that in "Middenheim City of Chaos" he already had a different name. Aehren 09:38, 25 August 2010 (UTC)
