The undying Legions of the Tomb Kings have risen, and are thirsty for reconquest. They make up the Tomb Kings of Khemri army list, and serve to keep their country of Nehekhara for themselves. The armies contain massed ranks of shambling skelital figures, ruthlessly cutting down all who oppose them. The army also consists of various massive constructs and the supporting priests to go with them. Even though they have a frail nature, the Tomb Kings make extensive use of cavalry, light and heavy, as well as chariots which are deadly to all who approach. They also make use of horrific magical items and weapons, using peoples own souls against them. They are led by the Tomb Kings and Princes and the Liche Priests keep the warriors together, spurring them on with magic.

Lords

Lords are the leaders of a larger army. It is almost certain that these armies will be on special mission if led by a Tomb King, and even more so if led by either Settra the Imperishable or by High Queen Khalida Neferer.

Heroes

Heroes are leaders of smaller armies, and proficient fighters on their own, but no match for a Lord. Certainly, no army is complete without a Hero of some kind in its ranks, be it a Tomb Prince appointed to rule a city by one of the kings of Khemri or an undying Liche Priest.

Core

This is what most of the army is made up of. Skelitons, the most basic troop choice in the army, are weak and slow, although given a wide choice of weapons and armour, as well as their huge numbers, they can easily match any other army. They also contain horsemen, deployable on flanks along with chariots, excellent at cutting up enemy formations.

Special

Special units are quite rare, but fairly often found on the battlefield. These include specially trained Tomb Guard, the elite of the kings prior to their deaths and the Ushabti, walking images of their gods armed with fiersome combat weapons. There are also Tomb Scorpions with massive claws, easily able to crush a man.

Rare

Rare units are the ones least likely to be brought to the battlefield due to their limited numbers. They are also the strongest units in the army. They can fire flaming, screaming skulls across the battlefield or crush men under their feet. They can even absorb the life force, or soul, of a person and trap it in a casket ready for the next battle.

The legions are very varied, but have a singular task, rid the world of all those who would challenge their leadership. This includes various explorers, archaeologists and marauding armies seeking treasure. Most commonly is battles against Orcs and Goblins, their territory bordering on the northern extremes of Nehekhara. Originally, these forces were pushed out of the territory, the Orc forced back into the hills to the north, but after the destruction of most of the population by Nagash, they moved south again, inhabiting the old cities and making use of the food production systems left in place by the no longer living population.
