Xereus is a god that appears in ancients tomes of forbidden knowledge.[1]

According to these tomes he was the God of the Ending, an Underworld Deity worshipped by a race of wicked men that have long since died. He desired to rule the heavens and concocted a plot to wipe out all life by imbuing death into the sun. This plot was foiled and instead he became sealed within his spell. His name is prominent in the conjurations of the Endless Spell known as the Purple Sun of Shyish, who many experienced Necromancers claim it's his tormented face that can be seen on the spell's surface.[1]
