Ahtaf I was the king that followed Settra in the rulership of Khemri and Nehekhara. He wanted to build a temple pyramid as grand as his father's to save his name throughout time.[1]

Unfortunately for him, the nation was shattered and half of the kingdom rebelled against him. The princes of Zandri and Numas raised themselves as kings. This was the beginning of many rebellions by the kings of Zandri and Numas.[1]

The next king was named Khutef.[1]
