Amn-nasir was a Priest King of the city of Zandri in Nehekhara. [1a]

Appearance

A stocky, strong man with the rolling gait of a sailor when he walked. [1a]

History

He was born in -1870 IC. [1a]

In -1750 he was summoned to Khemri with the twin kings of Numas and met by Nagash who informed them that Quatar had fallen but that he would use his magics to give them the years they needed to rebuild their armies. [1a]

By -1740 IC he had been present at the Siege of Mahrak for four years and had grown sick, his footsteps laboured, his eyes sunken and his teeth stained and rotting. He informed Arkhan that he felt Nagash had become so obsessed with City of the Gods whilst his city slid into ruin and their enemies grew in strength. Amn-nasir also told him that King Lamashizzar was coming with a large army and that this could be the last chance to save Nehekhara from total ruin. [1b]

Following the destruction of Neferem and the Covenant with the Gods, Amn-nasir ignores the commands of Nagash and meets with Lamashizzar and Arkhan. [1c] After the victory of the living at Mahrak, he joins the other kings marching on Khemri and warns Rakh-amn-hotep that Lamashizzar should not be trusted. [1d]

Shortly after the central chamber of the Black Pyramid is breached, Lamashizzar accidently triggers a booby trap which kills Amn-nasir. [1d]

Quotes

The warriors of Zandri have not fought a battle in centuries. Our weapons are dulled and our armour lires in tatters.

~ Amn-nasir to Nagash.[1a]
