Apophas
Prince Apophas became famous after he had committed a heinous crime, murdering entire royal family of Numas. The only suitable punishment was entombment in a sacrophagus populated by the flesh-eating scarabs. This painful death was not his only punishment, however, for his soul was claimed by the Usirian, Nehekharan god of the underworld and doomed to be tortured forever.
There is only one way for him to escape this terrible existence, and that is to exchange his soul for someone even more sacrilegous to the Usirian. The enemy heroes are obvious targets for the torture-driven prince. To ensure that he won't die in process and thus escape his punishment, the scarabs flow over the most grievous wounds, replacing whole limbs with their husks. Unsurprisingly, his skull is probably the only original bone remaining in his body.
