All the orcs including Gorkfang. |
Konrad, Elector Count of Ostland enegaged a large horde of Orcs led by the Orc Warboss Gorkfang. [1a]
Anticpating that the Orcs would inevitably charge his line, Konrad deployed his missile troops in his centre as a lure, with powerful blocks of solid close combat troops on their flanks, taking advantage of the terrain of the valley. [1a]
As the Orcs pushed back his centre, both flanks closed in on the horde until they were unable to even effectively wield their weapons and then cut them to pieces. [1a]
Notes
The battle has some resemblence to the famous Battle of Cannae.
