In the year 2260 IC, the magical guardian mists of the Shrouded Shore of Yvresse thickened and became a beacon for the entities of the Realm of Chaos, drawing a hrode of Daemons into the material world. As they began to emerge they were met by a High Elf army commanded by Prince Moranion of Athel Tamarha, joined by allied troops from Chrace, Eataine and other kingdoms of Ulthuan. Battle was quickly joined at the edge of the mist. [1a]
At the height of the battle the mighty Bloodthirster that led the horde was tearing into a regiment of White Lions, slaughtering them as they tried to hold their ground against the monster. Then a Flamespyre Phoenix dived upon the Daemon from above, saving the Lions as it tore into Bloodthirster, but the Phoenix itself then fell victim to the enraged Deamon of Khorne. [1a]
As the Bloodthirster turned once more to its original prey, fire burned behind it as the Phoenix rose anew from the pyre and then launched itself upon the Deamon, its beak piercing the black heart and forcing its bellowing spirit back to the Realm of Chaos. With its defeat the horde quickly lost its grip on the world and faded from existance. [1a]
