Boyars are a mid-ranking position of nobility throughout the nation of Kislev. [1]
They are formidable military leaders with the ability to inspire and enforce greater discipline in Kislevite soldiers, as well as to liase with friendly generals in allied armies.[1] Their rank is universally hereditary and their numbers are exclusively made up of Gospodars, both of which are not so for the Druzhinas, the next lower level of Kislevite nobility. Boyars are prolific land owners and are fabulously wealthy, far above the common folk, though they still pay their share of taxes to the Tzarina.[2]
