Bretonnian Wizard

Bretonnian Sorceress

Bretonnian Wizards or Sorceresses are magic users from Bretonnia. [1a]

Bretonnian Wizards are known as Wizards, Wizard Champions, Master Wizards and Wizard Lords depending on their level of power. [1a]

Court Wizards have to be wary of the Fay Enchantress as she dislikes other magic users but they often also resent the great influence on the king she has. [1b]

Should a noble lord have only a single daughter they are often sent to Altdorf to study magic which also ensures that they can control their husband though the arcane arts. [1b]

History

During a joust at the great Tournament of Couronne in the reign of King Jean le Bon, a magical duel errupted between the Court Wizard and the Fay Enchantress. The duel concluded with the king ordering his knights to search for the toad that had once been his best sorcerer! [1b]
