Celestial Dragon Guard

Celestial Dragon Guards are the elite infantry of Grand Cathay. [1]

Superior to the Jade Warriors they are much rarer, forming the legion of the Dragon Emperor. [1]

History

As the Eastern Empire expanded, more and more Dragon Guard weree added to the Celestial Host, allowing them to be dispatched to varied battlefields. The arrival of the Guard gives an exponential increase in power for the army they are aiding, not least for the morale boost it gives the soldiers seeing a direct connection to their Emperor. [1]

Weapons and Equipment

Many wielding Halberds, giving them the capability of spearing a beast from the Chaos Wastes as easily a man from his horse. Dragon Guard who show an aptitude for shooting rather than stabbing use crossbows. [1]
