Daemons are immortal beings of raw Chaos, who dwell in the Realm of Chaos. Most Daemons serve the Chaos Gods.

Description
They are all warlike fragments of divine will, let loose upon the world. Blasphemous abominations as they are, they draw raw power from the very Gods themselves who gave them life, and are the ruination of civilisation. Unbound to mortal concepts, such as space and time, they exist only to tear civilisations asunder and plunge the world into complete and utter chaos.
Chaos Daemons
Many types of Daemons are known to exist. The following list provides these Daemons, showing their alignment and what purpose they serve to their masters:
Known Daemons of the main four Chaos Gods | ||||
---|---|---|---|---|
Daemon Type | Khorne | Tzeentch | Nurgle | Slaanesh |
Greater Daemons | Bloodthirster[1a] | Lord of Change[1b] | Great Unclean One[1c] | Keeper of Secrets[1d] |
Daemonic Infantry | Bloodletters[1e] | Pink & Blue Horrors[1f] | Plaguebearers[1g] | Daemonettes[1h] |
Daemonic Beasts | Flesh Hounds[1i]
Bloodbeasts of Khorne[2][4] |
Screamers[1j] | Nurglings[1l] | Seekers of Slaanesh[1n] |
Daemonic Mounts | Juggernauts of Khorne[1p] | Discs of Tzeentch[1p] | Daemon-Beasts of Nurgle[3a] | Steeds of Slaanesh[1p] |

Daemonic Chariots | Chariots of Khorne[1r] | Chariots of Tzeentch[1r] | Chariots of Nurgle[3c] | Chariots of Slaanesh[1r] |
There are certain types of Daemons that are reasonably similar to one another but can serve any one of the gods such as Daemonic Heralds[3d] and Daemon Princes. The latter of the two is the only type of Daemon that can worship the Chaos pantheon as a whole, and/or have the ability to choose a god to follow themselves.[1s]
Other Daemons
Other Daemons are known to exist that are aligned to other gods, such as the K'daai for Hashut[5], the Vermin Lord for the Horned Rat[6] or completely unaligned to any one specific god such as Furies.[1t]
