Daemonsmith
The Chaos Dwarfs are ultimately led by the 'Daemonsmiths', a position that combines the role of sorcerer, priest of Hashut and master engineer.
This group, led by the most senior of the number, are the masters of the Chaos Dwarf empire and dictate to the warriors and crafts-dwarfs below them, who in turn are masters of the multitude of slaves who by number alone make up by far the majority of life in the empire.
These sorcerers are powerful magic users, but are inflicted with a curse of petrification which slowly turns their flesh into blackened stone. The oldest sorcerers are now just immobile statues, their mighty minds trapped inside forever.
