Lord Daith is a legendary figure among the Wood Elves. He is a master smith, and rules the realm of Torgovann.

Description

Daith is the greatest elven smith alive, and has created many master works. He is blind, but that does not hamper his skill; he works by touch. He is older than anyone remembers, and some believe he is older than Ariel and Orion and came to Athel Loren with the first group of colonists. However, he only looks to be middle-aged. He is also known for his fiery tongue. Many whisper that he is a reincarnation of Vaul, the elven god of smithing.^[1a]
