Dwarf Firethrower
Dwarf Firethrowers are unstable and volatile weapons of the Dwarf Engineers Guild. [1a][2a]
Dwarf Firethrower teams are notable for their singed beards, clothing and hair, morbid sense of humour and general recklessness. [1a]
Construction
The design is based on the larger Flame Cannons and fuelled by the run-off produced by brewhouses of Brewmasters like Josef Bugman. [2a]
A copper lined and iron hooped barrel is connected to the flexble pipe that is used to discharge the mixture of inflammble chemicals which is ignited to turn into a terrifying jet of flame. Some say that the operators can become addicted to the chemical fumes. [1a]
History
Although considered still in the development stage, the weapon was deployed against Goblins in the Worlds Edge Mountains, burning them out of their cavern lairs. The firethrower teams quickly began to build a reputation for a nonchalant attitude towards danger and reckless courage as they tended to suffer high casualty rates. [1a]
