The Elector Count of Averland was the ruler of Averland, a southern province of The Empire. This noble title was usually passed on in a hereditary fashion. Being one of the 15 Electors, the counts of Averland cast one of the votes in the election of a new Emperor. They held their court in the town of Averheim, Averland's capital.

The last Count of Averland, the eccentric Marius Leitdorf, was slain by the Orc Warlord Vorgaz Ironjaw in 2520.[1][2][3]
