The Elector Count of Nordland is the ruler of Nordland, a province of The Empire. This noble title is usually passed on in a hereditary fashion.

They are de jure Princes of Marienburg but are forbidden upon pain of death to ever enter the city. Fortunately they are also Princes of Salzenmund, Nordland's capital, where they hold their court.

Being of the 15 Electors the counts of Nordland cast one of the votes in the election of a new Emperor. The current ruler of Nordland is Theoderic Gausser [1].
