GW Books was a former subsidiary of Games Workshop. It published novels and anthologies set in the various backgrounds (Warhammer Fantasy, Warhammer 40,000, and Dark Future). The subsidiary ceased to exist after 3 years and several of its books were later re-published by Boxtree. GW Books was de facto a predecessor of the current Black Library which re-published most of its books.
