The King, also known as the Royarch, is the ruler and leader of Bretonnia, the second most powerful nation of the Old World. He is crowned by the Fay Enchantress. She is also able to remove a king from power, and King Ballaume the Brave was deposed by the Grail Knights by order of the Fay Enchantress. The current King is Louen Leoncoeur who was crowned by Morgiana le Fay in 2500 IC.
