Kurt Helborg is the current Captain (equivalent to Grand Master) of the Reiksguard and the Reiksmarshal of the forces of the Empire, second only to the Emperor Karl Franz. Kurt is said to be the finest swordsman of the Empire and has lead many of the campaigns of the Empire, as such he is one of the finest generals of the Old World.

While being part of the Empire Army List in the 4th and 5th Edition of WHFB a new version of Kurt Helborg was published with the publication of the Empire Armylist for the 7th Edition of Warhammer Fantasy Battles.
