King Lahkashaz ruled after King Lakhashar in the land of Nehekhara, in the name of the Tomb Kings of Khemri. He ruled during the fourth dynasty and marked the end of the fourth and beginning of the fifth.[1]
During his time, the cities of Zandri, Numas, Mahrak, Lybaras and Rasetra made war upon each other, renouncing their alliance forged against Nagash under the reign of King Lahmizzar. There was also a rebellion in Khemri, and then he was defeated and slain.[1]
He was followed by King Setep of the fifth dynasty.[1]
