Mortharor the Cruel is the Captain of the Black Ark Harbinger of Pain. [1a]

History

Morthator is renowned for hs cruelty, even amongst the Dark Elves and has struck against coastal settlements across the world. [1c]

He was commanded by Malekith to conduct the former High Elf Noble Kaldor to the Shadowlands and support his invasion on behalf of the Witch King. [1a]

Initially Mortharor led his Corsairs against the lighthouse beacon at Athel Maranth having sent raiding parties out to hopefully disperse the local defenders. However the local commander, a veteran of the wars between the High and Dark Elves and instead gathered his forces at the beacon, lighting it to try and gather reinforcements leading to a pitched battle with Mortharor's warriors. [1a]

The Corsairs and a great Hydra managed to mass and cut through the shield wall formed against them, destroying the beacon. [1b]

Weapons and Equipment

  • Dragon's Claw: A razor sharp claw he uses to cut enemies down in close combat. [1c]
