Pieter Lazlo
Pieter Lazlo was a human Envoy sent to the Elves of Ulthuan by Magnus the Pious. [1a]
History
As the Empire was attacked during the Great War Against Chaos, Magnus sent his friend Pieter on the Hope of Sigmar to seek magical aid from the High Elves. [1a]
The ship barely survived the voyage, having lost its main mast in the Sea of Claws after being hit by a huge wave. The subsequent attack by a Dark Elf warship was only survived by the intervention of another storm driving them apart. [1a]
Finally the Hope of Sigmar limped into the port of Lothern which itself was damaged from a recent Dark Elf Assault, the famous lighthouse having many of the thousand lamps smashed and was blackened by smoke. [1a]
The High Elves were preparing to march north to secure the ravaged Ulthuan and the Phoenix King Finubar was adamant that no forces could be spared to aid humanity [1a] but he did allow Teclis and two other mages, Finreir and Yrtle to sail to the Old World. [1b]
