A pulk is the name of a Kislev army division. They are usually made up of squads known as rotas which are units of different types within the Kislev army. They come under the command of a noble of Gospodar heritage and are the closest thing to a standing army that Kislev has. Often a single pulk is enough to fend off minor incursions, although two, three or more are needed to push back large armies. The greatest battles have seen all available pulks brought together, especially during the First Great War against Chaos in 778GC (2302IC) and in the more recent advances by Archaon.
