Sigismund II

Sigismund II of Averland^[4a], sometimes called Sigismund the Conqueror was an expansionist Emperor, ruling from 479 to 505 IC.^[1a][2a] He is known for several things:

• In 501, he conquered the King of the Jutones, ruler of Jutonsryk, and making it the imperial province of Westerland.^[1a][1b]
• He established a second province, Lichtenberg, in the Border Princes.^[1a]
• He established a third province, West Mark on the Bretonnian side of the Grey Mountains. Unfortunately, none of these provinces are still a part of the Empire.^[1a]

*He also defeated the Red Waaagh! by coordinating all sixteen of his armies using falcon messengers.[2a]  

• He stopped Norse raids into the heart of the Empire by building castles along the River Reik.^[3a]
