Sokth is the Nehekharan god of Murderers, Poisoners [3a] and Treachery. [2a]
Scorpions would not sting his followers, so those accused of kiling another were thrown into a pit of the creatures - if they were guilty they would survive and be thrown into another pit - this time filled with snakes. [2a]
History
For millions of years, he and the other gods dwelt in the Great Land before the coming of men. [1a]
After this time they became invisible spirits, but able to take on a form of their choosing - Sokth favours the Scorpion. [1a]
