Soloman Vantor
Soloman Vantor was the High Priest of Morr of Mordheim. [1a]
History
Before the coming of the comet that would destroy his home, he was the most devout servant of Morr, his days filled with ministering to the dead. He was visted by the god before the devestation being told that the dead would soon have great need of him. [2a]
Soloman sent away his other priests, retaining only a small staff of acolytes and after the destruction was enacted they were sent forth to gather the dead to lie to rest. Together they worked tirelessly for weeks but soon the High Priest and his staff only came out at night and it became clear that all was not well. [2a] His mind had in fact been shattered by gathered Warpstone and he was seduced by delusions of godhood, creating a Soul Engine which would enslave souls to fuel his ascension. [1a]
Various warbands confronted him in the ruined temple of Morr, fighting each other as much as they fought the deranged priest. The Vampire Malachias von Carstein attacked him directly, but even his unatural powers were not enough to defeat him. [1b]
Borin Fatalismus then crashed through a surviving stained glass window, distracting Sololman, allowing Malachias to strike him down. As he crawled away, Borin called upon Morr and the former High Priest was severed from the mortal coil. [1b]
Powers
The exposure to warpstone gave him inhuman speed, resliance and agility. [2a]
