The Springs of Eternal Life was a sacred site in ancient Nehekhara. [1a]

A huge basin with dozens of irregular pools linked by winding paths of rich green moss.[1a]

History

It was said to be formed by a holy union between Asaph and Geheb. [1a]

In -1744 IC, as part of the war against Nagash, the armies of Rasetra and Lybaras fought several battles to try to cliam the life giving water. When they won the 2nd Battle at the Springs of Eternal Life, they were horrified to discover that the Usurper had filled the once silvery water with rotting corpses, covering it with a scum of corruption and foulness.
