History
They were serving in Hochland when they were joined by Bruno Hauptleiter, a formidable figure who quickly proved himself, rising in the ranks, first as the youngest sergeant and finally captain of the company when his predecessor died in battle. [1a]
He and his men served with distinction in both Kislev and the eastern Empire, commanding high fees and establishing a reputation for discipline on and off the battlefield. [1a]
Storm of Chaos
In 2522 IC the company was hired by Elector Count Valmir von Raukov to help defend Wolfenburg, the city having already been sacked once by the army of Surtha Lenk. Tey fought hard in its defence, but the city was overwhelmed, Bruno himself being knocked out by a falling wall. [1a]
Following the sack, Bruno has taken command of the area, using his few remaining men to try and restore order the refugee camp outside the ruins until his employer returns. [1a] [1a]
