Sunfang
Sunfang is a famed magical sword. [1a]
History
The blade was forged by the Archmage Caledor in Vaul's Anvil for the first Phoenix King Aenarion as a companion for the armour he had made for him. When Aenarion drew the Sword of Khaine he gave the sword to one of his most trusted lieutenants, Furion who would pass it to his own descendants. [1a]
Malekith as the Witch King of Naggaroth sought to obtain his fathers sword from the family but was refused. [1a]
Nathanis of the line of Furion took the blade with him on a trading trip to the Old World but did not return, adventuring in the Empire and the lands of the Wood Elves before travelling through the Border Princes, Tilea and finally Estalia where he perished. [1a]
It surfaced again in the hands of various humans with the last being a mercenary Johan Argentes who eventually set sail from Estalia to Lustria in search of treasure on board a ship commanded by Captain Leiber. They reached the city of Zultec where Argentes was last seen entering a pyramidd before the part was attacked by Lizardmen. [1a]
