The Great Hospice
The Great Hospice is a hospital-monastery of the Cult of Shallya that specalises in treating insanity. [1a][4a]
It is located near the small village of Frederheim. [1a][4a]
Once admitted by the Hospice, a patient will remain in its caare until demonstrably cured (a rarity), until the family instructs otherwise or they die. [2a]
History
It was founded in 2243 IC by the Emperor Eberhardt the Just who had himself been a member of the cult. He hoped that research carried out here on the inmates would provide new answers and cures but little progress has been made with the sisters of the hospice spending most of their time caring for their charges. [1a][2a]
Finiancial support from the crown does still continue, but has declined over the year and now it relies on donations from wealthy family or friends of inmates. [4b]

Quotes
They're happy enough to dump their embarrassing relatives on us, but they don't seem to understand that it costs money. Just because we're priestesses, they seem to think we come by everything we need miraculously.
