History
It was built by order of Bel-Korhadris the Scholar King, who was later buried inside its foundations and whose ghost is said to sometimes aid scholars.[1a] Work was begun in the 11th year of his reign (-679 IC) and not completed until 497 IC. [1b]
In the 400th year of his reign, the tower was half-completed but already a small town of mages and scholars had sprung in its shadow. The Loremasters, the order of mages in service of Hoeth, was formed in this time.
Guardians
The Tower of Hoeth is carefully protected by the Sword Masters.[1c]
