Afterlife

I got the info about the afterlive of the followers of the various deities from Wikipedia. The given source (there - I d0n't have it) is the Warhammer Fantasy Roleplay, Second Edition, 2005. Were you able to check it? Aehren 20:19, 26 August 2010 (UTC)

Yes, there's nothing about the afterlives in the given sources. And it looks like the info was all added to the articles by a single person. It's interesting that no one has removed it from wiki yet. Anyway, it doesn't make sense to have separate afterlives in a pantheistic religion. --Acidface 02:55, 27 August 2010 (UTC)

Delete or not delete

I like to go straight to the point. I believe that we should chose just one of the following three templates and delete the other two. Just to keep things simple and easy. Avoid duplicates at all costs.

You know how to work with the templates and I don't, therefore I leave the choice between the three up to you.

I like the term "Further information" and I believe that is a better and clearer wording (but I'm not doing the work with the templates).

Was the Template:! just an experiment? Can I delete it or do you want to keep it? Aehren 12:15, 15 September 2010 (UTC)

They're not really duplicates because both have their own uses:

"Main" is used for linking from a summary to the main article.

"See also" is used for ancillary/related articles.

So in the Skaven article:

Government
Main article: Council of Thirteen

Having both would allow us to link to the main article and to related subjects.

! is needed because it's called by the other templates.

Feedback?

I'm largely finished with the article Conspiracy of silence. Could you please take a look and give me your honest opinion about it? Good, bad, I've seen better? Aehren 04:01, 3 October 2010 (UTC)

Another thing: sometimes it's simply better to delete a very poor article in order to begin with a clean slate. To improve a poor article may take more effort than to create a new and better one. I have done it, and probably will do it again (from time to time). If you wish to (re)create an article in this fashion, just give me a post. Aehren 22:49, 6 October 2010 (UTC)

Yes - although a clean slate is sometimes a daunting sight (I mean to have to start an article from scratch). Even if I end up changing the whole article I like to have something to start from- unless of course the existing article is particularly poor or a copy and paste job. --Acidface 00:06, 7 October 2010 (UTC)
Copy and paste jobs (from original GW material) have to be deleted without mercy (copyright and all that - in theory GW could force the owner to shut down the Lexicanum). If you find such an article tell me asap. Aehren 01:51, 9 October 2010 (UTC)
