Hey, thanks for the offer. Will have a good think about it and get back to you. -- Revoran 02:23, 5 February 2015 (MST)

Age of Sigmar

That sounds like a good idea. I can't help you much, however, since I don't have any Age of Sigmar books or White Dwarfs. (yet) Peter of Loren (talk) 09:08, 15 July 2015 (MDT)

Just so you know you can download the Free Primer at: http://www.blacklibrary.com/Home/wh-aos-primers.html
You just need an Black Library account and a Epub file reader. I still haven't added everything from it in.--Ashendant (talk) 09:47, 15 July 2015 (MDT)

Sourcing

Is there any problem if I use the {{Fn|}}{{Endn|}} system for sourcing? It's same one used in the WH40K lexiicanum and doesn't have the problems that the other systems have.--Ashendant (talk) 03:10, 16 July 2015 (MDT)

Feel free--User:Bigred
Do you also mind if I start of a sorta of project listing the sources of Age of Sigmar? It would help a lot with finding sources later before it becomes too abundant.--Ashendant (talk) 11:59, 8 August 2015 (MDT)

Feel free regarding sources,

Also as Age of Sigmar is going to require some updated portals, and modifications to the frontpage and other key areas I would like the existing main WFB contributors to talk amongst yourselves and offer up a volunteerwho wants admin rights. Many of the older admins have drifted away over the years and we need a fresh one for WFB. The primary goal of a future new WFB admin would be to take a look at the 40K wiki and begin to upgrade our WFB wiki to have easily accesable sections for Age of Sigmar, publications, etc...

This is an exciting time for the wiki as there is so much new source material coming out of GW as they reboot the system. We want the WFB Lexicanum to not seem behind the times.

I don't have interest in being an admin(too much work I don't have experience in) or updating pre-aos stuff(not really interested + too many sources I don't have).
I've been using the Fn, Endn used in the w40klexi, because its easier to implement and much more funcional. I would suggest you put this as an "official" rule.
My biggest problem is categories, as I want to avoid mixing categories from old stuff with the AoS if possible.
And as far as I can see I'm the only one updating AoS stuff.--Ashendant (talk) 12:46, 8 August 2015 (MDT)

Grey Gallery

I used the Gallery stuff in the Branchwraith article to make it more like wh40k lexi, but the image ended up being inside a grey square. The colour scheme kinda clashes with the rest of the site in, what I assume, is a bug.--Ashendant (talk) 17:16, 9 August 2015 (MDT)

Take a look at this page. This seems to be the better looking way of embedding images:
http://whfb.lexicanum.com/wiki/Archaon --User:Bigred
Art should go to the top, but images of miniatures should go to the bottom, and I'm uploading pictures of miniatures. Like the article you just posted, which also has the same problem with grey squares.--Ashendant (talk) 17:54, 9 August 2015 (MDT)

Mainpage links

If you want to add a category as a link do it like this: [[:Category: Grand Alliance of Order|Order]].--Ashendant (talk) 13:13, 14 December 2015 (MST)

Thanks, I'll take a look. It was time to add in an Age of Sigmar nav section on the mainpage as there is a good amount of content now and we want new users to know that the wiki is staying current, and not focussed only on the previous Warhammer fantasy editions.

-Larry

I was wondering if any changes are going to be made, since I posted the links on Talk:Main Page. I'm also kinda sad that this website is mostly dead...--Ashendant (talk) 13:12, 15 May 2016 (MDT)
Could you add the icons I posted on the talk main page?--Ashendant (talk) 18:23, 16 September 2016 (MDT)

Previous Registration Plans?

One of the reasons this wiki seems to not grow at all is because it takes a while between registration and the account itself being accepted, instead of being done automatically like other wikis, which means that potential writers will often forget they registered at all. On the forums I found this one year old post that says was gonna be changed but nothing ever came of it. Can we please change something about the way the wiki works so we actually gain new writers?--Ashendant (talk) 09:41, 9 August 2017 (MDT)

User rights Updated

Previous rights restored. Please update your logins just to be safe. Bigred (talk) 18:18, 23 August 2017 (MDT)

Just changed my password. However I can't confirm my new email as it doesn't send one.--Ashendant (talk) 19:31, 23 August 2017 (MDT)
We'll add that to the list of bugs. As long as you can login - we're good. Bigred (talk) 22:34, 23 August 2017 (MDT)
Test update Bigred (talk) 17:14, 10 September 2017 (MDT)
Still unable to confirm my email. No email is sent.--Ashendant (talk) 17:27, 10 September 2017 (MDT)
I went and checked my old email in case the confirm was sent there and wasn't sent there either.
I also noticed that you sent an email saying the wikia accuse us of copy-pasting. I can guarantee that on my side I don't copy paste, since I grab from the source or a photo of a source an try to rework the text to provide the same context in different, even if only slightly, words. I'm mostly the one editing, so if anybody else is copying it's in a very few pages. Either way I think they are just complaining that the texts are too similar. I could go ahead and look if anyone else has been copying info. If they complain you should probably ask them to show a few examples of copying.--Ashendant (talk) 17:51, 10 September 2017 (MDT)
