Warhammer 40,000 is one of three major systems run by Games Workshop.
Fantasy and 40,000 share some of their more behind the scenes background elements, such as the Old Ones, Chaos, the Chaos Gods and Daemons. Originally, Warhammer 40,000 was the broader universe in which existed the fantasy Warhammer world, although the planet was off from the rest of the galaxy by perpetual warpstorms.
