The Warhammer Rulebook for 6th Edition was originally released in the autumn of 2000, both within the boxed game for that edition, as a separate componant and, for a limited period, as a hardback.

The book has 288 pages and the cover is printed in color while the majority of the book remains in black and white, although there are usually several pages of colour images of miniatures.
