| All but five humans died. | |
Five and half thousand years after the founding of Karaz-a-Karak, the armies of King Alrik Ranulfsson of Karak Hirn and those of Reikland joined together to fight the hordes of the Orc Warlord Grothak One-Eye. [1a]
The human army withstood the main onslaught of the Orcs, holding a hill until the massed fire of the Dwarf Thunderers and the charge of the Ironbreakers borke the resolve of the enemy. [1a]
Following the bloody victory, the Dwarfs heaped a great pile of Orc heads in honour of their allies and as a warning to others of their kind. [1a]
