History
For nearly three years, Azhag the Slaughterer had rampaged across the northern Empire. The Orc invasion finally was resolved in the Battle of Osterwald. [1a]
Battle
In the decisive moment of the battle, Werner Kriegstadt had plunged his lance deep into the belly of Orc Warlord, striking him down and claiming the great beast’s crown. However the towering Wyvern that served Azhag as a mount ferociously guarded its fallen master and as the Templar Master fought against it, the beast thrashed and clawed at him, tearing von Kriegstadt’s helmet from his head and breaking several ribs. [1b]
Aftermath
The Crown of Sorcery is secured and passed into the care of the Grand Theogonist and the Cult of Sigmar. [1a]
