Bloodletters are the core of the vast legions of Daemons of Khorne that worship the Lord of Battle. They are believe to have been the most devout of their mortal followers once, with an implacable will and blood hungry as Khorne.[2]

The leaders of units of Bloodletter warriors are known as Bloodhunter. Most of these units have Hornblowers and Icon Bearers. These masses are extremely intimidating especially in higher numbers.[1f]

Bloodletters can ascend in ranks and become Heralds of Khorne, like the Bloodmasters or the Skullmasters that ride on the back of a Juggernaut of Khorne. When riding in the backs of Juggernauts of Khorne, they become heavy cavalry known as Bloodcrushers. They can also bring to battle hell-forged machines known as Bloodthrones or Skull Cannons.[3][4][5][6][7]

They have rippling muscles and knotted sinews.[2]

Just like the god that spawned them they are blood-hungry and have an implacable will. They are driven by an unparalleled killing instinct that makes Bloodletters fearsome opponents.[2] As they charge into battle they howl mad battle cries. Daemons of Khorne motive around them motivate them to fight harder in combat and they often aim for decapitating blows.[1f]

All Bloodletters carry brazen Hellblades.[1f]

Hornblowers blast out terrifying sonorous blasts that resound on the their enemy's ears.[1f]

Icon Bearers carry Gore-drenched Icon, able to blink reality to reinforce the unit they are present, or a Bloodsoaked Banner, daubed in the blood of champions driving them into charging harder into battle when a unit slays a champion.[1f]
