Doomreaver

A Doomreaver are Dark Elf warships towed by Helldrakes. [1a]
If the ship is destroyed, the Helldrake will break free of control and dive deep into the ocean away from any battle. [1a]
Specially trained beast-handlers raise the Helldrakes from birth, guiding them in battle with magical lances that can send a burst of extreme agony through the creature if it disobeys. The Doomreavers in a squadron are normally raised from the same clutch of eggs, but even then can attack each other. [1a]
