The Flaming Scimitar is a 100-gun pleasure barge of the Golden Magus. [1a]
Its hull is trimmed with precious stones and gold. [1a]
Within the Flaming Scimitar is vast treasures, magical artefacts and curios as well as large numbers of magical jars which imprison a elemental who will obey a single command when their prison is shattered. [1a]

As well as its battery of bronze cannon, the scimitar has a shipguard of forty silk-clad Ogres whilst spells of protection guard its silken sails. [1a] The ship is able to unleash its two great elementals – the Tempest Djinn and the Fire Efreet – for which the Golden Magus is famed. [2a]
