Kattarin
Kattarin was a female vampire of the Lahmian bloodline and Tzarina of Kislev in the World-that-Was. [1]
She reigned from 2309 IC to 2465 IC. [3a]
History
She was turned into a vampire by Chandagnac, against the advice of his own sire, Lady Melissa d'Acques who recalls she was also fond of bathing in the blood of her courtiers children. [1]
After receiving the Dark Kiss, she took the throne from her somewhat stupid husband and ruled for several, increasingly bloody centuries until she was killed by Tsarevich Pavel from whom a vampire hunting society of nobles in Kislev later took its name. [1]
Her body was then preserved in ice in the Frost Palace as an example to others. [1]
During her unlife a famous sequence of poems was dedicated to her by Vladislav Dvorjetski [2]
Blood Children
Vampires of her bloodline, the Kalashinivik family can be found in Praag and consider themselves true heirs to the throne of Kislev.[3b]
