Mercenary Dwarfs are usually younger Dwarfs who have decided it is easier to fight for gold than mine it. [1a]
There are a substantial number of Dwarf Mercenary bands, with specalists such as sappers, engineers and artillery in high demand. [2a]
Weapons and Equipment
- 3rd Edition: Hand Weapon, Light Armour, may have Champion, Crossbow, Double Handed Weapon, Shield, Spear. May have Champion, Musician, Standard Bearer. May have Magic Instrument or Standard. [2a]
- 6th Edition: Hand Weapon, Light Armour, may have Crossbow and/or Great Weapons. May have Heavy Armour and Shield. [1a]
