Nicholas DeGrutti

Nicholas DeGrutti was a scholar of natural physic from Tilea. ^[1a]

History

He took ship with the renowned Pirate and explorer Jeremiah Tusk hoping to see exotic and strange wonders in the greater world. He spent twelve years with them, becoming a good friend of the old pirate and recording what he saw in words and drawings. ^[1a]

Sadly in the Southlands whilst investigating a new creature which he named Hippo (horse) and potamous (of the river), it killed him. Jeremiah and his crew had thought plain Riverhorse as the native called it, was a far better name.^[1a]
