Peasant Long Spearmen

Peasant Long Spearmens are the most basic infantry of Grand Cathay. [1]
The population of Cathay is vast and whilst the Celestial Dragon Emperor and his children are wise and benevolent leaders, they understand the importance of having such a large pool of defenders to make the forces arrayed against them fight for every inch. [1]
Peasant milita are known as the Warriors of Wind & Field, and they retain their fierce loyalty to their cause and the Dragons that watch over them. In war, they are expected to flee from battle when facing more than they can endure leaving the the fight to be finished by more experienced and disciplined troops. [1]
Weapons and Equipment
Their long spears give them fantastic charge defense when suitably braced against the foe. [1]
