Talk:History of Nehekhara

Why are there more Khemri articles than others? I mean I found an article on some armour that the Tomb Kings can take and found that there isn't an article about the Storm of Chaos!

It's because I have the Tomb Kings army book and scoured it a while back. You'll find that just about every article is written by me and none of it sourced... I didn't know about that back then :S Anything you can do would be very appreciated, we don't have any regular posters down here really. --82.21.78.241 00:01, 6 December 2006 (CET) oh and i'm Jonru, it just didn't log me in as I haven't been here for a while --Jonru 00:02, 6 December 2006 (CET)

Nehekhara during the incursion of Chaos

I read a blurb (one or two lines) that said that during the incursion of Chaos, the Nehekharans sided with the elves. I haven't been able to find that blurb or anything to elaborate on that. What role did the Nehekharans have during the incursion, and what were their relations to the other races besides the greenskins?

The only thing about a Tomb Kings - High Elf alliance that I could find was page 21 of Warhammer Armies: Tomb Kings (8th Edition): 666 IC - "A host of Daemons invades Nehekhara, and Settra's army is hard pressed to halt the onslaught. Aid arrives when an High Elf army, led by Prince Stormrider, offers an alliance. The spears of the Glittering Host and the Golden Army fight side by side, and the Daemons are vanquished before Nagash's Black Pyramid."
Sorry to disappoint you if you're looking for information about some alliance at the time of the first great Chaos invasion (of the time of Aenarion, around - 4500 IC). The civilisation of Nehekara appeared 2000 years afterwards (began around - 2500 IC).
The relations between the Tomb kings and everybody else tend IMHO to vary from case to case and largely depend upon the circumstances. Short-lived alliances against a common foe who is invading the Land of the Dead seem to be possible. However I don't believe that the tomb kings care all that much what happens beyond their borders (therefore they won't send an army to help anybody else). And if you're caught plundering one of their cities or tombs you're dead no matter if you helped them previously.
If I may offer some advice: try the Warseer forums if you're interested in asking about the fluff. There are plenty of fans over there who are more than willing to help you. Aehren 02:56, 22 August 2011 (CEST)
