Temple Guard
The Temple Guards are a special spawning of Saurus that are dedicated to protecting the Slann Mage-Priests. [3a]
Their resolve to protect their Slann Masters is unbreakable, and they do so with utter determination until death overcomes them. [3a]
When on duty they stand motionless and it has been known for them to stand a sleepless vigil for centuries even as dust settles upon them giving them the appearance of statues. Even the Skink Priests and other attendants upon their Slann masters must approach them with caution. [3a]
Temple Guard accompany their Slann wherever they go, be that abroad or merely to the Star Chamber at the top of the Pyramid-temple. [3a]
