Ulfwerenar or Shapechangers are Norse were-warriors, the word meaning wolf-warrior in the Norse language. [3a][4a]

Shapechangers are held in high esteem by the Norse and invariably a Norse army will have at least some in their ranks. [2a] They can transform partly or fully into a Giant Wolf [1a] or even other creatures such Giant Rats or Bears [2a] or a wolfman hybrid form. [3a]

They are feared throughout the warhammer world as fearsome fights and for the terrible deeds they have performed - many of the worst horrors attributed to the Norse. [4a]
